The delivery.eg app is the largest home food delivery app in the Middle East and Africa. It started as a directory for home food service providers, providing menus, phone numbers, and WhatsApp contacts to help users order their meals over the phone or through WhatsApp.

Success: The app has achieved significant success recently, with over 1,000,000 users and more than 2,000,000 downloads. It has thousands of home kitchens and offers 100,000 dishes and products.

Transition: After the great success of delivery.eg and recognizing the huge opportunities in the home food market, we are committed to creating more sources of income for women and their families. We aim to help them earn more money for a better quality of life and address the issue of female unemployment. Our goal is to provide the best service to customers and make ordering healthy home-cooked meals easier by transforming our app into an integrated platform for direct ordering from women cooks. We will track orders and offer various payment methods, using artificial intelligence and data analysis to enhance the user experience.

Current status: We are currently developing and restructuring our technology to align with the new business model. We are training women to work on our platform effectively, adding new features, and conducting thorough testing. Our services will be relaunched in the market soon.

Our objective: Our aim is to eliminate female unemployment and create 1,000,000 job opportunities for 1,000,000 Egyptian women and their families through our apps. We will also provide them with financial solutions in collaboration with the World Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority. Additionally, we fulfill our social and environmental responsibilities by minimizing food waste, distributing surplus meals to those in need, and adopting eco-friendly delivery methods such as electric and air bicycles and clean routes.
